Day 1 Negombo
As you arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, a SUNGATE LANKA TOURS Representative will greet you. This representative will be your driver cum guide throughout the tour. To begin your Sri Lanka itinerary 7 days, you will be taken to the neighboring town of Negombo where you will check in to Jetwing Blue on a bed and breakfast basis for the first night.

Day 2 Sigiriya
Early next morning, you will depart to Sigiriya. En-route, you will stop at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage for some one-on-one interaction with the Elephants of Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, you will visit the ‘Lion’s Rock’ in Sigiriya. This rock climbing activity is do-able and recommended for most tourists as you get to see some beautiful engraved frescoes of the ancient era and also the remnants of a fortress at the top of the rock, not forgetting the tremendous view from the summit. Day 3 Kandy
On day 3, after breakfast, you will head towards Kandy after exploring the nearby Dambulla Cave Temple. Thereafter, proceed Kandy, after having visited the Ayurvedic Herbal Gardens on the way. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth and then check in to Golden Crown Hotel on day 3.

Day 4 Nuwara Eliya
Have an early breakfast on day 4 visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy to discover a wide range of fauna including some beautiful orchids. Next drive to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, you will visit the gorgeous Ramboda waterfalls, a picturesque tea plantation and also a tour of a tea factory. In Nuwara Eliya, you will check in to the Grand Hotel for a night, inclusive of breakfast the next morning.

Day 5 Ella, Yala
On day 5 of the tour you would be transferred to the Nanu Oya railway station to board a train to Ella which is a journey that would last in your memory for long time as the train winds its way through breathtaking scenery. On arrival at the Ella railway station your chauffeur guide will pick you up at the Ella railway station and then drive you to Yala. You have the remaining day to relax and indulge in the luxury surroundings of Jetwing Yala.
Day 6 Galle
On day 6, a jeep safari ride will take you for a game drive at the Yala National Park. Next, check out from the hotel and depart to Galle – three and a half hours from Yala, located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. En route, when in Galle, take a tour of the Dutch Fort and its surroundings. A luxury ocean view room at Amari Resort awaits you in the evening.
Day 7 Colombo and Transfer to Airport
After breakfast on day 7, checkout and head towards the bustling city of Colombo. Time permitting depending on the time of your return flight you would be taken on a city tour of Colombo and then transferred to the Airport.
