Day 1 & 2 Kalpitiya
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, a representative of SUNGATE LANKA TOURS will meet you. The Representative would be with you throughout the tour. Your first destination on this Sri Lanka itinerary 14 days will be Kalpitiya, which is about a 3-hour drive from the airport.
Kalpitiya located in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka, is a collection of 14 islands and it is famous for its waterfront beauty. This place is often considered as the future of Sri Lanka tourism. The collection of Kalpitiya islands along with the water lagoon has vast scopes of development in the future. Kalpitiya Beach, situated in the far northern end, is a place for many watersports and dolphin and whale watching. The beach is a long sandy spit, which can be easily accessed from the Kalpitiya lagoon on a boat.
This beautiful stretch of sand attracts a lot of tourists and the beach is truly bestowed with scenic beauty. Whether you plan on a nice sunbath on the sandy shores, or dipping in the water for fun, Kalpitiya Beach in Sri Lanka is a must visit destination.
1st and 2nd days at Kalpitiya Dolphin Bay Hotel
Day 3 Anuradhapura
From Kalpitiya, the next morning you will depart to Anuradhapura. After exploring the ancient city, which illustrates Sri Lanka’s glorious history, you will check in to Forest Rock Garden for the night.

Day 4 & 5 Jaffna
On the 4 day after breakfast, proceed further north, this Sri Lanka itinerary 2 weeks will take you to Jaffna on day 4. Whilst departing from Anuradhapura, you will visit the Mihintale Temple first, Elephant Pass next, and then reach Jaffna – a journey totaling about 3 and a half hours.
Jetwing Jaffna is your selected accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis for the next two nights in Jaffna. On day 5, you will visit the Jaffna Fort, Nallur Temple, Library, Local Markets and the Nagadeepa Temple.

Day 6 & 7 Trincomalee
On the 6th day the tour takes from the Northern city of Jaffna to the Eastern city of Trincomalee. On day 6 and 7 you would be accommodated at the Trinco Blu hotel on half board basis. In Trincomalee, you will visit the Kinniya Bridge and the Velgam Vehera historic Buddhist Temple., Koneswaran Temple and Fort Frederick.

Day 8 Sigiriya
After breakfast the next morning, you will be driven to Sigiriya where you will visit a local village by means of a ride in a bullock Cart. After lunch you will engage in a rock climbing activity at the “Lion’s Rock” (about 1200 steps) – which is a UNESCO world heritage site and must not be missed during your tour in Sri Lanka. After a long day, you will check in to Amaya Lake Hotel.

Day 9 Kandy
After breakfast on day 9 your tour continues to the gorgeous and beautiful hill country of Sri Lanka. En-route you will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and then check in to Golden Crown Hotel for the night.

Day 10 Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast you will begin a three-hour journey to Nuwara Eliya. A journey that takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscape via winding roads, lush green tea plantations, cascading waterfalls. En-route, you will visit Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation and a tea factory. In Nuwara Eliya, you will be taken on a city tour. Araliya Green Hills is where you will be staying on day 10.

Day 11 Ella & Yala
After an early breakfast on day 11 you begin an existing train journey. You would be taken to the Nanoya railway station to board a train to Ella.of this Sri Lanka Itinerary 14 days. Our driver will pick you up at the Ella railway station. He will take you to visit the Nine Arches Bridge in Ella and then head towards Yala – your next destination. En-route, you will view the making of pottery items which are used for traditional Sri Lankan cooking. Upon reaching Yala, you will check in to Jetwing Yala for the night.

Day 12 & 13 Bentota
On day 12 you will go on a safari by jeep to Yala National Park to explore the wildlife of Sri Lanka. After this, you will head towards the southern coast of Unawatuna. Your next stop will be at Avani Bentota for a relaxing two nights stay on bed and breakfast basis. Bentota is on the south west coast of Sri Lanka and offers beautiful beaches for a swim and sun tan, along with adventurous water sports activities if you wish to try some.
Days 12 and 13 at Avani hotel Bentota.
Day 14 Transfer to Airport
The 14 day tour comes to an end and you would be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
